Bowlers from Telford & Lilleshall played out the 2006 Shropshire BCA finals on 3 September. Roger Rowley and Mike Bradburn beat Ian Ellis and Mike Hubbard 22 - 11, though the score is a little unfair on the runners-up who were in close contention until the last few ends. |

In the Men's Singles, Mike Bradburn was always in command, beating Lilleshall's Mike Caird 21 - 12 despite a late rally from Mike C. |

The Ladies Singles was a keenly fought contest between Ruth Lowe and Thelma Stanley, both of Lilleshall. After some 30 ends Ruth emerged the victor by 21 - 19. The winners are pictured receiving their trophies from Telford & Wrekin President George Lobb (SBCA Chairman Mike Bradburn being somewhat heavily involved already!) |
